Our implant fees at a glance

All the prices are published openly on our fees page, and these prices are guidelines that may vary depending on your individual case. A tooth implant is really two pieces of work, and our pricing splits them honestly down the middle. The first £1,450 covers the surgical side: placing the titanium fixture into your jawbone, where it will spend the next few months fusing with the bone. The second £1,450 covers the part you will actually see: a custom abutment in titanium or zirconium, topped with an all ceramic or porcelain bonded crown, made to match its neighbours. Add the consultation and any small extras and the realistic total starts at £2,800. While the implant heals, the site is protected, so you are not walking around Cheltenham with a gap.

What can change the final figure

The word ‘from’ is doing honest work in these prices, and the variables are mostly about what your jaw brings to the table.

  • Bone grafting, from £300. If bone has shrunk where the tooth has been missing, a graft rebuilds enough structure for the implant to hold.
  • Sinus lift, from £1,200. Sometimes needed for upper back teeth, where the sinus sits close to the implant site.
  • Soft tissue graft, £250. Builds up the gum around the implant where needed.
  • OPG panoramic X-ray, £80. Gives us the full picture of your jaw before we plan.

None of these are added quietly. Your £90 consultation includes an examination, X-rays and scans, and it ends with a written treatment plan and quotation, so you see the whole cost before committing to anything.

Replacing several teeth or a whole arch

Implants get more cost-effective as the job gets bigger, because one implant can carry more than one tooth. Three missing teeth do not need three implants: we replace them with a bridge on two implants from £5,000, aftercare included. If you wear a full denture that wanders when it should not, a removable denture fixed to two implants with stud-like attachments, from £4,500, keeps the affordability of a denture but anchors it solid. And for a full arch, All on 4 treatment supports 10 to 12 teeth on a minimum of four implants: £10,000 for the fixed acrylic bridge stage, then £4,000 to £6,000 for the final bridge.

How our fees compare across Cheltenham

We checked the implant fees published by other Cheltenham practices in July 2026, and the comparison earned a paragraph of its own. Against the local prices we could verify, our complete single tooth implant comes in around 23% below the Cheltenham average, our £90 consultation costs roughly half the going rate, and our bone grafting starts at less than half the typical published price. Full arch All on 4 treatment sits in line with local specialist pricing. We publish every fee openly so you can run the comparison yourself, calculator in hand.

Few people pay for implant treatment out of one month’s wages, and you are not expected to. Oriel Villas is a credit broker, not a lender, which means we can arrange patient finance through a lender rather than financing treatment ourselves. Tell us at your consultation that you would like to spread the cost and we will talk you through the current options alongside your written treatment plan.

Are dental implants available on the NHS?

Almost never. NHS dentistry covers treatment that is clinically necessary, and implants are generally considered a private option, with rare exceptions arranged through hospital services after serious injury or illness. That is why every figure in this guide is a private fee. The good news is that once an implant is in place, looking after it costs no more than looking after a natural tooth: routine check-ups and hygiene appointments, with no special products required.

Why implants cost more than a bridge or denture

On our own fee list, a conventional bridge starts at £1,200 and full dentures at £1,300, so implants are clearly the bigger investment. What the extra buys is the root, not just the tooth. An implant is the only replacement that fuses with your jawbone, protects it from shrinking and, looked after well, lasts for decades. Frequently asked questions

Why do so many of the prices say 'from'?

Because mouths are not standard issue. Bone density, gum health and the position of the tooth all shift the work involved. The published figures are honest starting points, and your personal quote is fixed in writing after the consultation.

What happens at the £90 implant consultation?

We examine your mouth, take X-rays and scans, check whether you have enough bone density and plan where the implant should sit. You leave with a written treatment plan and quotation, and no obligation to go ahead.

Can I pay for implants in instalments?

Ask us about finance at your consultation. As a credit broker we can arrange finance through a lender, so treatment can be paid for in a way that suits your circumstances.
