How does home whitening work?
Home whitening is a fantastic alternative to the in-surgery treatment, and much more suitable for patients with sensitive teeth. A custom-made mouth tray is worn for a short amount of time during the day, or overnight, to achieve your dream whiter shade.
What does the treatment involve?
At your initial appointment, we will advise whether you are suitable for whitening treatment and discuss your dream outcome. We will take impressions of your teeth in order to create your custom-made whitening mouth trays.
Once your trays are ready, we will invite you for a fitting appointment. We will show you how to use the whitening gel inside the mouth trays at home and give you the chance to ask any questions.
You will need to wear the trays for a short amount of time during the day, or overnight while you sleep. It will typically take around 14 days to achieve your new whiter shade – get ready to show off your dazzling smile with pride!
